Mychal Martinez is a Denver, Colorado Basketball Trainer and Clinician originally from Las Vegas, NV with 7 years of basketball training experience. He currently resides in Lakewood, CO.
In his time as a full-time trainer since November 2016, Mychal has trained over a thousand players including a male DI All-American and retired professional, male All-Pac-12 Conference player and current professional, numerous female NCAA Division I/II/III All-Conference players, ESPN top-ranked female high school players, and a female McDonald's All-American and Jordan Classic participant. He's had the honor and privilege of directly training and mentoring 20+ players that have successfully made the jump from high school to the college ranks.
As a player, Mychal played collegiately at Yavapai Community College (2007-2009) and UNLV (2009-2011) under Head Coach Lon Kruger. In High School at The Meadows School, he won four Nevada AA State Championships, was a two-time All-State MVP and All-Conference MVP, and was a 2007 McDonald's All-American Nominee.
Since 2012, Mychal has been a part of the Denver, CO youth basketball community coaching and developing girls and boys of all levels. In August 2012, he helped co-found Colorado Premier Basketball Club, a Nike Girls EYBL member. He served as their Director of Operations from 2012-2016 prior to starting his own basketball training company.
